Centerra Gold reports Q4 net earnings of $106.6 million, 45 cents per share

TORONTO - Centerra Gold Inc. (TSX:CG) is reporting net earnings of $106.6 million, or 45 cents per share, in the fourth quarter.

That compares with a net loss of $70.7 million, or 30 cents a share, in the same quarter of 2012.

Revenues came in at $468.9 million, compared with $368.5 million a year ago.

For the year, Centerra posted net earnings of $157.7 million, or 67 cents per share, compared with a net loss of $143.7 million, or 61 cents a share, in 2012.

The company says there was increased production at its two operations, Kumtor and Boroo, but these were partially offset by 20 per cent lower realized gold prices in 2013.
