Denis Richard, CEO of Imvescor, quits in midst of strategic review

MONCTON, N.B. - Denis Richard has resigned as president, CEO and director of Imvescor Restaurant Group (TSX:IRG) as the company behind the Pizza Delight, Mikes, Scores and Baton Rouge restaurant chains continues to review its strategic alternatives.

The Moncton-based company says Richard left to pursue other opportunities but will continue to help a special committee of the board of directors in an ongoing review announced April 28.

At the time, Imvescor announced it was considering strategic alternatives, including a possible sale, privatization or alliances with other companies.

Chief operating officer Yves Devin will continue to lead Imvescor until Richard's successor is appointed.
