Sun Star Points

How it works

Carriers all earn points that can be redeemed for a wide array of prizes. Sun Star Points can be earned as follows:

Every month of service beginning April 1, 2008 5 points
At 3 month anniversary – bonus 10 points
At 6 month anniversary – bonus 15 points
At 1 year anniversary – bonus 20 points
Complaint-free month 10 points
Find a new subscriber 20 points
If new subscriber is pre-paid - bonus 5 points
Pre-arrange your own substitute carrier 10 points (you must notify your DM with information)
Subbing for other carriers 10 points
Refer a friend or relative as a carrier 50 points (if they become a carrier and stay on route 3 months)

All these actions earn points that will be put into your “account” and can be redeemed for prizes from the catalogue of Sun Star Rewards.

You will be given a calendar to track your points at home just as we track them here. You decide if you want to redeem them, or keep on building to earn even greater prizes.

As you probably noticed all the ways of earning points are for positive behaviour. We will also be deducting points for missed deliveries, late deliveries or poor service stops as follows:

Each missed delivery reported –5 points
Each late delivery reported –2 points
Poor Service Stop –20 points

It’s obvious that we reward those who provide the best service for their customers. So keep on rewarding your customers with great service and we’ll keep on rewarding you with valuable Sun Star Points!

Your Sun Star Points can be redeemed as soon as you meet the minimum number required (50) or you can save them and set your sights on something you really want… a bike, a digital camera, a colour TV, a new Blackberry, an X-box 360, laptop computer.

For carriers with brothers or sisters who are also carriers we’ll even let you transfer your points so you can join together to get to your goal even quicker.
