Brandon Sun - PRINT EDITION

5-Pin Bowling - Busy, busy, busy in bowling

The Manitoba Provincial Hi Lo Doubles Championships were held in Neepawa on March 29, and congrats goes out to the Carberry team of Lucas Clark and Des Murray for finishing third (+110). The winners were Susan Clarke and Stephen Mariash from Winnipeg (+303). Boissevain’s Henry Timmer and Leonard Dancey finished sixth.

Also, Manitoba took bronze at the Youth Challenge National Championships in Hamilton on March 28 and 29. Ryan Mansell of Minnedosa was on the team, along with four others from Winnipeg.

We are now just one week away from hosting the Manitoba Provincial Open Championships at Thunderbird Bowl. Be sure to head to the lanes Easter weekend, April 17-19, to see some of the province’s best battle for a national spot in Calgary.

Next week we will have results from the Brandon Bowler of the Year Tournament as well.
