Bluefins excel

On Nov. 25, three Brandon Bluefins swimmers received a provincial award from Swim Manitoba. Drew Cochrane received the award of merit as top Manitoba long course ManSask 2012 for the 16 years old and over category in the individual medley event. Gabriel Jardine won the top Manitoba long course ManSask 2012 for the 13 years old category in the 50 back event. Iwan Levin received the top Manitoba short course ManSask 2012 for the 12 and under category in the 50 free event.

Meanwhile, these three boys, plus 13-year-old Isabelle Stewart from the Bluefins, participated in the annual PWI swim meet that took place at the Pan Am pool in Winnipeg from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2. Drew Cochrane is seen competing in the photo below left
