Dragoons Museum donates to memorial

On March 31, the 26th Field Regiment Royal Canadian Artillery held the 32nd Annual 26th Field Regiment and XII Manitoba Dragoons Museum Vimy Night celebration and fundraiser in the Brandon Armoury.

To kick off the evening, the museum presented a $5,000 cheque to the city for the new Veterans Memorial, to be constructed at the corner of 11th Street and Victoria Avenue.

Entertainment was provided by the 26 Field Regiment Pipes and Drums Band. A live auction followed, the event was well attended and supported.
