Peewees take tournament

Members of the team are Calen Addison, Cole Bohonos, Rhett Bryant, Dylan Fontaine, Brendan Gairdner, Curtis Ireland, Jaymes Knee, Ryan Kokorudz, Patrick Kondratiew, Keegan Morrison, Brett Paddock, Max Paddock, Tate Popple, William Ramsey, Ryder Richmond, Tristen Robbins and Carter Sawchuk. Head coach is Jeff Sawchuk, while the assistants are Todd Kokorudz and Lavern Popple.

On the weekend of Oct. 26-28, the Source for Sports Peewee AA Wheatkings played in the Saskatoon Aces hockey tournament.

In their first game Friday night, they beat the Saskatoon Titans 6-2. On Saturday, they defeated the Saskatoon Mission 7-4, putting them in the semi finals against the Edmonton Renegades on Sunday, which they won 3-2. In the final the Wheatkings played the Calgary Midnapore Heat, winning 4-0 to take the tournament.
