Tim Fenton, McDonald’s Global Chief Operating Officer, recently flew up from Chicago to visit some of the company’s restaurants in Western Canada.

When Fenton visited the Wheat City, George Sheard — owner-operator of the four Brandon franchises plus the one in Neepawa — teamed up with the Brandon Wheat Kings to present him with a little memento of his visit: a Wheat Kings jersey bearing No. 33.

That’s the number former Wheat King Dustin Byfuglien wears with the Winnipeg Jets, and wore when he helped Fenton’s beloved Chicago Blackhawks win the 2010 Stanley Cup.
