LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Julianna Margulies, the embattled lawyer, mom and mate on "The Good Wife," is the winner of her second Emmy Award for best actress in a drama series.

Margulies previously won an Emmy in 2011 for her starring role in the long-running CBS series. She also won the trophy for best supporting actress in 1995 for the medical drama "ER."

Her rivals in the best-actress category were Claire Danes, Michelle Dockery, Robin Wright, Lizzy Caplan and Kerry Washington.
