TORONTO - "America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon is heading to Toronto to host a free outdoor afternoon concert this summer.

Cannon, who's married to R&B superstar Mariah Carey, will preside over the first YTV-presented Summer Beach Bash, to be held Aug. 9 at Sugar Beach.

Scheduled performers include Victoria Duffield, 4Count, "The Next Star" winner Alicia Moffet and Rebel Coast.

The family friendly concert will also feature buskers, water stunts, food and games.

It will eventually be telecast on YTV on Aug. 23.

In a statement, Cannon said he couldn't wait to come to Toronto to listen to music and meet fans.

"There's nothing more hype than an outdoor concert in the summer," he said. "Plus, who can beat free with the chance to be on TV?"
