Tatiana Maslany of 'Orphan Black' gets another Critics' Choice award

TORONTO - "Orphan Black" star Tatiana Maslany now has a clone of her first Critics' Choice Award.

The Regina native won best actress in a drama series at the Critics' Choice Television Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday night — a year after taking the same trophy.

This year she beat out Julianna Margulies for "The Good Wife," Keri Russell for "The Americans," Lizzy Caplan of "Masters of Sex," Robin Wright for "House of Cards" and Vera Farmiga for "Bates Motel."

"Orphan Black" stars Maslany as eight different clones, each with distinct looks, personalities and accents.

The Space series dominated the Canadian Screen Awards earlier this year and has won a Peabody Award as well as a Golden Globe nomination for Maslany.

The Toronto-based actress has also earned a slew of other honours for her performances on the show, including a Television Critics Association trophy.

The Season 2 finale of "Orphan Black" airs Saturday at 9 p.m. ET on Space.

A marathon of the season begins Saturday at 12 p.m. ET. The season will also repeat in its entirety, beginning Aug. 15 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV.
