- Reality TV honcho Mark Burnett and actress Roma Downey of "Touched by an Angel" fame are the creative forces behind the epic, five-part docudrama "The Bible." Downey, who is married to Burnett, also stars in the 10-hour miniseries as Mother Mary alongside Portuguese TV star Diogo Morgado as Jesus. Live-action and state-of-the-art CGI portray the Bible chapters from Genesis through Revelation. Following "The Bible" is the debut of "Vikings," a nine-part scripted series starring Travis Fimmel and Gabriel Byrne, among others. (History)

- New episodes of the celebrity interview series "Oprah's Master Class" return tonight, with an instalment featuring Alicia Keys.
