The Canadian Press - ONLINE EDITION

Twain, Hunter, lang, Martel and Snow featured on new Canada Post stamps

OTTAWA - Canada Post has unveiled five new stamps dedicated to homegrown country stars including Shania Twain and Tommy Hunter.

Renee Martel, k.d. lang and Hank Snow are also part of the new collection, unveiled at a press conference Thursday.

The stamps are available in five separate booklets of 10, one devoted to each artist.

Each booklet is selling on the Canada Post website for $8.50, while the entire set can be purchased for $42.50.

Limited edition framed prints are available for $89.95.

"The music of these artists holds a special place for so many Canadians, and these stamps are likely to stir memories of those lasting musical moments," said Canadian Heritage Minister Shelly Glover in a release.
