‘Banner year’ for folk society
Last night’s year-ending open house for the Brandon Folk Music and Art Society celebrated the group’s accomplishments during this 25th anniversary year, board president Shandra MacNeill says.
“It was a real banner year for us and we want to thank the community, volunteers, board members, businesses who supported us,” she said, adding that there were 500 more paying patrons at the festival than previous editions.
