The case of what appeared to be a stabbing has reached a mysterious end, with police declining to comment further.
“It’s basically not a police matter at this point,” Brandon Police Service Const. Ron Burgess said on Wednesday.
Firefighter/paramedics helped a man out of a home on the 200-block of 12th Street on Tuesday afternoon.
The man was then assisted onto a stretcher.
The incident was reportedly a stabbing, and a photo taken by a Brandon Sun reporter showed what appeared to be a wound to the man’s upper leg.
On Wednesday, however, Burgess said there was no information to release.
“At this point it’s not a police matter because we don’t have a complaint,” Burgess said without elaborating.
