Two people have been arrested and face charges after more than a dozen vehicles were damaged in a rural Manitoba vandalism spree earlier this month.
Tires were slashed, paint was scratched, and dents and damage were apparent on the bodies of some 14 vehicles in and around Notre Dame de Lourdes, in southcentral Manitoba overnight on June 13. One of the vehicles was broken into and had items stolen from inside, police say.
However, two people were arrested by Treherne RCMP on Monday.
John Mesina, 20, and Arnel Samson, 24, have each been charged with 21 counts of mischief. They’re to appear in Portage la Prairie court on Aug. 18.
