Everyone’s favourite explorer, Nickelodeon’s Dora, is embarking on a live musical journey with all of her best amigos and she wants you to come along.
Due to tremendous fan support, producers Koba Entertainment announce a third show in Brandon at the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium on Sept. 21 — an evening show starting 7 p.m., following the 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. afternoon shows.
Starring Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer and her cousin Diego, Boots the monkey and pals Map, Backpack, Tico, Isa, Benny, Swiper and more, Dora has lost her teddy bear, and the search is on to retrieve him.
With the help of the audience and her courageous friends, Dora uses her map-reading, counting, musical and language skills to successfully pass through the number pyramid and the mixed-up jungle to reach The City of Lost Toys.
Join Dora and her entourage for this two-act song and dance spectacular full of big time fun and adventure.
"Dora the Explorer Live! Search for the City of Lost Toys" is produced by Koba Entertainment, whose credits include other memorable theatrical productions such as "The Backyardigans: Quest for the Extra Ordinary Aliens," "Toopy and Binoo and the Marshmallow Moon" and "Max & Ruby in the Nutcracker Suite."
This show has been tremendously successful worldwide in regions such as the United Kingdom, Australia, Europe, North America and South America, where "Dora the Explorer Live!" has sold more than two million tickets.
Meanwhile, the TV show "Dora The Explorer" airs Monday through Thursday at 2:10 p.m. on Nickelodeon Canada and Monday through Friday at 4:30 p.m. on Treehouse.
