Brandon police charged three individuals for being impaired and in control of a vehicle over night on Saturday.
A woman was arrested for being impaired and in control of a vehicle in the parking lot at 9th Street and Victoria Avenue just before 6 p.m. The 24-year-old was then charged for refusing a breathalyzer test. She was kept overnight for a bail hearing in the morning.
Police responded to a report of an impaired driver in a drive thru shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday morning. The 36-year-old New Brunswick man provided a breath sample over the legal limit. He was charged with impaired care and control of a vehicle and kept overnight for a bail hearing.
A motorist stopped to offer assistance to a stopped car at the 18th Street and Aberdeen Avenue traffic lights. The female driver was found slumped over the steering wheel. Prior to police arriving the car drove away.
The vehicle was located and stopped and the 25-year-old driver provided a breath sample over twice the legal limit. She has been released from custody to appear in court on July 3.
