Eight people face charges following a seven-month investigation into drug trafficking in Dauphin.
RCMP announced Tuesday that Project Debrief concluded with searches and the arrests of eight Dauphin residents between Friday and Monday. Police seized about 450 grams of marijuana and 15 grams of cocaine.
Each of the eight accused — who range in age from 18 to 34 — is charged with trafficking cocaine. One man is also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Two men remain in custody pending court dates. One was expected to appear in court on Tuesday, and the other has a court date next Tuesday.
The other six people have been released and are scheduled to appear in court on April 22.
