Two people were sent to hospital after an assault at a downtown hotel Friday night.
Police say a 32-year-old intoxicated Killarney man was “causing problems” and assaulted two people at the Pacific Avenue hotel.
Police didn’t give any details regarding the assault, but said the two victims were transported to the Brandon Regional Health Centre for treatment of injuries to their upper bodies.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. Police said he was found nearby and sent to the Brandon Correctional Centre.
A 32-year-old man is facing a slew of charges including assault, assault causing bodily harm and six counts of failure to comply with recognizance orders after police found out he was on two separate orders.
He was scheduled to appear in court Saturday.
