Dylan fans are in for a treat next weekend as the Route 10 Collective presents Bob-fest, a celebration of the music of Bob Dylan.
Over the past four years, the Collective — a group of musicians who are seasonal cabin dwellers and full-time residents of the Clear Lake area — have staged summer concerts. Past sold-out shows include The Last Waltz, Monterrey Pop Festival, Neil-fest and the Beatles White Album.
The Dylan catalogue is as vast as an ocean and Route 10 Collective will navigate through 30 of their favourite Dylan songs. The show will include both hits and misses.
Bob-fest showtimes are 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 17-19, at the Onanole Community Centre. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $22 in advance at Poor Michael’s Bookshop. Call 204-848-0336 for more information.
Members of the Route 10 Collective include George Cadigan, Aly Cameron, Carly Dow, Iain Edye, Eye Patch Band, Murray Evans, Troy Fleming, Callandra-May Hart, Tom Mathews, Patrick McDermott, Cam, Colton and Logan McKillop, Dave Oakey, and Don and Pat Sullivan.
