All the work of breaking into a Brandon home must have completely worn out the culprit — police say they found him lying on a sofa.
Several calls came in to report that a man was trying to break into a home on the 800-block of 21st Street, at around 10 a.m. Thursday. Officers who responded found that the front door had been forced open.
The suspect was found lying on the living room sofa and police determined that he did not live there.
A 26-year-old Grand Rapids man was to appear in court yesterday morning on charges of break and enter and breach of recognizance.
