Pancakes, the opportunity to honour loved ones and the chance to win $76,000.
That’s a pretty full plate at the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation’s annual pancake breakfast, being held this Friday from 7 a.m.-10 a.m. in the nurses’ residence gym.
The event features the launch of the foundation’s Tree of Lights campaign. With a minimum $15 donation, you get a ticket to the breakfast and your light will be placed on one of the trees being decorated in the traffic loop at the Brandon Regional Health Centre.
Not only are you helping the foundation fundraise for health care, but your light can shine as a wonderful memory of a loved one or to honour someone special.
Donors receive a tree ornament as a token of remembrance or as a gift to be given to the honoured.
As well, the pancake breakfast will see the launch of the Murray House Lottery and your chance to win a grand prize of $76,000.
Proceeds will provide ancillary funds to support Murray House cancer treatment residence now under construction and those who will use it. Tickets are three for $100 or one for $40, with 50/50 add-ons available for an additional maximum prize of $50,000.
Tickets available at the foundation office or at the door. For further information, call 204-578-4227.
