The owner of a car found abandoned after it smashed into a tree says she had left it parked in front of her home, hours earlier.
The crash was reported at about 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday, when an area resident spotted the red 1997 Pontiac Grand Am. It had been abandoned after hitting a tree on Falcon Crescent.
Police tracked down the registered owner, who said had parked it in front of her home, on Aster Crescent, around midnight.
Officers continue to investigate.
