A man has been arrested following a rash of vandalism and burglaries in the core area.
On Oct. 27, city police received a report of a break and enter to a garage on the 600-block of Louise Avenue, a spokesperson said in a release Tuesday morning.
This was followed the following evening by a report of a burglary to a garage on the 300-block of Sixth Street.
Windows had also been broken in a building and a vehicle on the 300-block of Sixth Street.
The investigation led to the arrest of a male suspect Monday.
A 33-year-old Brandon man is charged with two counts each of break and enter and mischief to property.
