Charges laid in two separate domestic disturbances

Two men face charges after police were called to separate domestic disturbances on Sunday.

The first was reported shortly after 7:30 a.m., when officers were called to a disturbance on the zero-hundred-block of 10th Street North.

They say their investigation led to charging a 34-year-old Brandon man with a domestic-related assault. He is to appear in Brandon court on Jan. 23.

The second was reported a little before 8 p.m., when a 911 call came in from the 2100-block of Louise Avenue

Officers who responded to that call say their investigation resulted in a 43-year-old man, of no fixed address, being charged with domestic-related assault. He was held in custody and was to appear in court later yesterday.
