The Idle No More movement is on the city council agenda for Monday night’s meeting.
Julia Stoneman of the Brandon University Aboriginal Student Council will be making a presentation about the movement and addressing the recent round dance/protest at 18th Street and Victoria Avenue.
Also on the agenda are the appointments to the Brandon Urban Aboriginal Peoples’ Council and the Brandon Police Board.
Council will discuss a proposed $2 million in additional funding for the Keystone Centre’s roof repair, subject to a matching contribution by the province.
