Police are on the lookout for two suspects who slashed open a convertible’s top and stole a mountain bike on Saturday evening.
A resident of the 300-block of Sixth Street reported the vandalism and theft. The car, a Ford Mustang, had its convertible top slashed, and was rummaged through. Then, the duo made off with a silver mountain bike that had been in the backyard. The bike is silver with yellow lettering and has a wire carrier on the back.
The thefts happened at about 10 p.m. and the pair responsible are described as men about 18 to 22 years old who are aboriginal in appearance. They’re both about 5-foot-10 and about 175 pounds. One had a Mohawk-style haircut.
