Police have a suspect in mind after an assault last month that sent a man to hospital, but they haven’t been able to track him down.
On Sept. 28, a man was reportedly assaulted by another man, who lived in the same building on the 300-block of 11th Street. The victim was injured in the upper body and had to be treated in hospital.
Police say that their investigation has identified a suspect, but that they haven’t been able to find him.
On Tuesday, they requested an arrest warrant for a 25-year-old Brandon man. He’s wanted on charges of assault causing bodily harm, and of twice breaching a recognizance.
