Courts to get upgrades

Pitted, unpainted tennis courts in a downtown Brandon park will get a little bit of love this spring.

After an inquiry from Coun. Corey Roberts (Rosser) about the conditions of the courts, city manager Scott Hildebrand said that the surfaces would be repaired and painted as soon as the weather allows.

The pair of tennis courts are located at the south end of Stanley Park, near 15th Street and Lorne Avenue.
