Brandon police attend to an apparent single-vehicle crash at 26th Street and Victoria Avenue just before 9 a.m. Tuesday. There was no immediate word on injuries.
Police were called to 12 crashes on icy Brandon roads on Monday, and there were a few more on Tuesday as well.
The collisions come despite a plea from police on Monday morning that motorists take care and caution while they are out and about, a plea they reiterated yesterday.
Police said that drivers should slow down and drive to the road conditions, not necessarily at the posted speed limit.
Meanwhile, City of Brandon crews should be out clearing the roads south of Richmond Avenue, between First Street and 13th Street, today.
They have already finished up areas north of Richmond, to Victoria Avenue, from First to 34th Street, as well as west of 34th Street from Pacific Avenue to Aberdeen Avenue.
