Crime Stoppers -- Tips sought after male's indecent act

The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in solving an assault and indecent act.

Police report that at about 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 14, a woman was assaulted by a male suspect, who jumped out from behind a bus shelter on the 700-block of 18th Street.

The suspect allegedly had his pants undone and was committing an indecent act when he grabbed the victim and knocked her to the ground.

The suspect was scared off by a passing car and could not be located by police.

The suspect is described as a slim white male, about 5-foot-5, with short brown hair in a brush cut.

He was wearing jeans and a black hoodie with a design on the back.

The suspect was last seen running west along the CN railway tracks.

Two arrest warrants have been issued for Boubard, 26, who is charged with impaired driving, taking a vehicle without consent, failing to attend court and several Highway Traffic Act offences.

Police report that on Nov. 24, a female suspect collided with a sign post while driving along First Street North. The suspect was found to be driving while impaired and without a driver’s licence.

The vehicle involved had also been taken without the owner’s permission.

After being arrested and later released, the suspect failed to attend court on Dec. 1.
