Two suspects in a Dauphin fire that left a teenager in critical condition have been arrested in Vancouver.
Manitoba RCMP were advised on Wednesday that the Vancouver Police Department arrested Sean Barry Douglas Nepinak, 24, and Seamus John Nepinak, 22, both of Dauphin. Both men have been charged with arson with disregard for human life.
Local emergency services were dispatched to a fire in a residence on Sixth Avenue NE in Dauphin on Aug. 31 at approximately 12:45 p.m. Initial reports indicate there were four people in the residence at the time. All were reported to have escaped the burning residence. A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital in critical condition. The other three occupants suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
