Documentary showcases wonderful workers

Ordinary jobs done by extraordinary people is the focus of a new documentary being produced in Canada.

Producer and director Kathryn Liptrott is looking across Canada for examples of people going above and beyond in their jobs.

She wants to know about more workers who bring smiles to people they see or inspire you to pay it forward.

“Every day there are stories about how badly people do their jobs,” Liptrott said in an email. “The idea is to celebrate people who love doing what they do and do a little bit extra.”

The documentary will showcase Canadians from coast to coast.

“In Toronto we have a wonderful lady, the dancing crossing guard, who never fails to make me smile,” Liptrott said.

Anyone with suggestions of possible candidates from southern Manitoba is asked to contact Liptrott. She can be reached via email at kateinkigali@gmail.com or by calling 647-284-3140.
