Driver faces charge after Victoria Ave. crash

The female driver of a pickup truck that collided with a Brandon Transit bus yesterday has been charged with failing to yield the right of way, police say.

Officers were called to the crash at about 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday. The pickup was apparently travelling north on Park Street when it pulled out onto Victoria Avenue in front of the eastbound bus, causing the collision. Both vehicles ended up on the centre median, but no one was injured.
