A Brandon man and woman each face drug trafficking charges after police raided a home on Wednesday.
Police say the raid was part of an ongoing drug investigation. Officers executed a search warrant at a home on the 800-block of Seventh Street, and arrested a man and woman who live there.
A search of the home turned up about an ounce of cocaine and five ounces of marijuana, along with assorted drug paraphernalia and more than $100 in cash.
Police estimate the street value of the seized drugs at around $4,000.
A 24-year-old Brandon man was to appear in court yesterday on charges of possession of cocaine and marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime, breach of recognizance and breach of undertaking.
A 31-year-old Brandon woman is to appear in court on Feb. 13 on charges of possession of cocaine and marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
