An 84-year-old driver was treated in hospital following a two-vehicle collision near Wawanesa late yesterday morning.
A 46-year-old woman driving westbound on Highway 2 in a 2003 Toyota Corolla lost control of her vehicle, crossed over into the eastbound lane and collided with a 2013 Toyota Venza about five kilometres east of Wawanesa.
Souris RCMP and emergency services personnel were dispatched to the scene shortly before 11:30 a.m.
The lone female driver of the Venza was transported to a local hospital for precautionary measures.
RCMP say slippery road conditions are considered a contributing factor in the crash.
