A problematic drive-thru customer turned out to be impaired, police say, after restaurant staff called them.
Officers were called to the 2600-block of Victoria Avenue just prior to 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Restaurant staff said that they were having problems with a drive-thru customer.
Police managed to find and stop the vehicle, whereupon they found that the driver appeared to have been drinking.
He failed a roadside screening test and was arrested. A later breath test showed that he was over the legal limit.
A 21-year-old Brandon man is to appear in court on Feb. 4 on a charge of impaired driving.
