Four people are dead, the Brandon Sun has learned, following a plane crash near Waskada Sunday evening.
At about 6 p.m., Killarney RCMP were notified of an overdue Cessna aircraft.
About one hour later, the plane was located near Waskada with the assistance of Canadian Forces Search and Rescue Technicians dispatched to the area.
As of 11 p.m. last night, RCMP were on scene investigating with the assistance of the Transportation Safety Board and the RCMP Forensic Identification Section.
The Brandon Sun has a reporter in Waskada today and will have a comprehensive story in tomorrow’s print edition.
