An Ontario man wanted by Brandon police was arrested near Falcon Lake and held in Winnipeg — an example of multi-agency co-operation that police say shows “you can hide, but you can’t run” from arrest warrants.
The man, a 55-year-old from Kenora, was driving a vehicle near Falcon Lake when RCMP there pulled him over. After running his name, they turned up the Brandon warrant and arrested him.
The suspect was then taken to the Winnipeg Remand Centre and is scheduled to appear in court today.
