A Brandon teen faces one charge after graffiti was spray-painted on a garage on the 1900-block of Ninth Street, police say.
As first reported by the Brandon Sun on Saturday, some residents expressed concern that a message spray-painted on the garage door, “WARRIORS WANT THOM,” was gang-related.
Brandon Police Service says after the incident was reported to officers around 4 p.m. on Friday, an investigation was launched.
It has found that the graffiti wasn’t gang-related and a suspect has been arrested.
A 15-year-old boy is to appear in court at a later date on a charge of mischief.
