A little spin on the Heart and Stroke Big Bike could win you a dream vacation.

Register for a big bike event online at bigbike.ca, fundraise a minimum of $50 and be entered to win a dream vacation worth $7,500.

"We want Manitobans to ‘ride big and live big’ for the Heart and Stroke Big Bike events," said Heather Carroll, community fundraising programs manager for the Heart and Stoke Foundation of Manitoba.

"Ride big on the giant bike, raise funds to help fight heart disease and stroke and live big — by registering for big bike online. Fundraisers are automatically entered to win a dream vacation."

The big bike runs under the steam of 29 riders and follows a two- to three-kilometre course that takes about 20 minutes to complete. Teams can be made up of colleagues, friends and family members who each collect personal pledges prior to the event.

Last year, more than 80 teams in Manitoba rode the Big Bike and raised more than $220,000. These dollars supported the foundation’s mission to reduce Canadians’ rate of death from heart disease and stroke by 25 per cent, by the year 2020.

The Heart and Stroke Big Bike will be in Brandon June 23-24, Winkler-Morden June 16, Winnipeg June 17-20 and Elie-Oakville June 21.
