A significant amount of jewelry was taken from the laundry room of a Brandon apartment building and the victim says it could have happened over a period of two weeks.
The theft was reported at about noon on Friday, June 15, but could have happened anytime between May 18 and June 2.
The victim, a female resident of the apartment building, on the 200-block of McDiarmid Drive, says that she had stored some personal property in a storage closet of the building’s laundry room. However, the storage closet was unlocked.
Missing are some personal papers, identification and a significant amount of jewelry that included five silver rings, four gold rings, two gold necklaces and several watches.
Police continue to investigate.
