Join the fun at GamesDay

A whole day of gaming will be on the table at GamesDay this Saturday as members from the local community bring their favourite games to share and play.

This is the second of three GamesDay events that will be held at the St. Matthew’s Cathedral community hall leading up to PrairieCon this June.

Participate in large scale Warhammer 40k battles, team up and fight raging infernos in Flashpoint, or maybe finally be the one to stop the zombie apocalypse in Pandemic.

With 80 to 120 people of all ages in attendance, there is bound to be someone with a game that is just what you are looking for.

Local and Winnipeg-based stores will also be present showing off their latest and best wares from the gaming industry, making it the perfect place to pick up something new for you and your friends.

A canteen will be set up to provide snacks and beverages, with all the proceeds going to help fund PrairieCon.

Admission is free, so join in on the fun Saturday at the St. Matthew’s community hall, 403 13th St., and be prepared to make some friends as you roll the dice on a new gaming adventure.

The action kicks off at 12:30 p.m. and wraps up at midnight.
