Show producer/promoter Tom Crook said after a few weeks of down time, the crew will be planning for the milestone festival.
"We’ll have to do something special, we’re not sure yet what, but I’m sure there will be something special next year," Crook said.
"We’re going to have a wrap-up meeting in about three weeks. We’ll just take a look at everything, see what needs to be tweaked, what worked, what didn’t work and make some improvements as we go."
The ninth annual Rockin’ the Fields took place Friday to Sunday.
"I think it went great. Our numbers were up … weather held up, the music was great, crowds were great so it worked really well," Crook said.
Final attendance numbers are still being tallied, however Crook said it was definitely higher than last year. Last year’s event saw close to 1,500 visits per day.
The festival’s lineup included Default, Finger Eleven, Red Seed, Shattered, SAGA, Free Byrd and Platinum Blonde among others.
"Every band was great to work with and they did a great job," Crook said. "That’s why the people are here, so it’s great when they work together with us ... and they enjoyed themselves too."
Crook wanted to send out "a big thank you" to all of the fans and volunteers who were at the event.
"Really when it comes down to it, the whole thing is run by volunteers," he said. "You can’t do a festival like this without having a ton of support from the town, the RM, the volunteers … it just wouldn’t work without them."
