Despite a forecast that calls for sweltering temperatures through the early part of next week, the city is reminding hot folks that autumn is coming. And with it, pools and spray parks are nearing the end of the season.
In fact, the final day for the city’s three paddling pools is today.
The two outdoor swimming pools and three spray parks will stay open another week and a bit. They’ll shutter their doors for the season after Monday, Sept. 2.
The spray parks are free and are open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. They are located at Stanley Park, Kin Park and Westridge Community Centre.
The two outdoor pools charge $3 admission for children and $4 for adults, with a $10 family rate. They are open from noon to 8 p.m.
