A Brandon man has a court date after he literally got caught napping.
The man was found asleep in his vehicle in a parking lot on the 3100-block of Victoria Avenue around 1:50 a.m. on Sunday.
The vehicle’s engine was running and samples of his breath indicated that he had a blood-alcohol level more than double the legal limit.
A 20-year-old Brandon man will appear in court next week on charges of care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired, and care and control with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit.
