A man spent the night in jail and was to face charges yesterday, after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
Police were called to an apartment on the 600-block of Pacific Avenue at around 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, where they found that a man had apparently assaulted his girlfriend — despite a court order to have no communication with her.
A 29-year-old man was to appear in court Monday to face charges of assault, breach of probation and two counts of breach of recognizance.
