The man who was the victim of a faux “stabbing” earlier this week was found cut up again early Thursday morning.
Police were called to another reported stabbing at about 3:40 a.m. on Thursday on the 200-block of Louise Avenue. At the scene they found a 28-year-old man, who had previously been found with lacerations to his arms on the 100-block of Richmond Avenue.
Once again, no actual stabbing had occurred, but the victim had several fresh cuts on his mid to lower body. He was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries and later released.
Police say the victim gave conflicting accounts of what had happened to him and they weren’t able to find anyone else in the area, despite checking with a police dog.
They continue to investigate both incidents.
