Two men, including one from Brandon, face numerous charges after a traffic stop in Portage la Prairie also turned up pot and cocaine.
Police in Portage pulled over a Chevy Tahoe Monday at about 3 p.m. because they suspected that the driver was impaired.
However, subsequent investigation revealed that the two men in the SUV were in possession of both cocaine and marijuana.
Sonny Flett, 31, of Brandon, and Neil Malcolm, 30, of Winnipeg, have each been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of the proceeds of crime.
They have both been released from custody, but are to appear in court in Portage on Dec. 2.
